SATURDAY 5TH: Tom and I set off from Saltisford Arm at around 10am whilst Sarah and Karen drove to Braunston then caught the bus back to Leamington Spa. We reached Leamington Spa for 11am, where we stopped and did a few jobs. Having had lunch we all set off at almost 1pm and headed off towards Radford Lock. Fairly quiet run up the locks and reached Stockton bottom lock before 5pm where we moored for the night.
SUNDAY 6TH: This morning we set off at 9 and headed up the Stockton flight. Plenty of boats at Warwickshire Fly - looking like they are getting ready for Braunston. Nice to see Themis de-converted there - amongst others, but unfortunately I didn't get chance to take any photos as we were too busy chatting. Reached the top of the locks by 10:30, thanks to Sue Cawson for giving us a hand up ther flight :-) Passed Adamant, Bingley, Renfrew, Dragon and Ruislip at the Tomlow moorings. Fairly busy up Calcutt locks, moored just beyond Napton Junction for around 12. Set off again by 1pm and moored at Braunston by 2:30pm.
