SATURDAY 17TH: Having done a car shuffle we arrived at the moorings at Stoke Golding for late morning. We had lunch, did the brasses and a bit of tidying up before setting off. Stopped for 10 minutes at Trinity Marina and continued down the Ashby. Turned onto the Coventry Canal for about 5pm. Moored just past Hartshill for 7pm.

 

SUNDAY 18TH: We set off from Hartshill at around 9am and reached the top of Atherstone for around 10am. Fairly quiet down the locks and moored at Grendon for lunch. Arrived at Alvecote Marina for around 3pm.
