Braunston to Norton Junction
Middle Northwich motor Sickle
13th March 2010
CREW: Matt Parrott & Joe Fuller
SATURDAY 13TH:
Having drove over to Braunston this morning, Joe and I put the fenders back onto
Sickle which have been soaking in creosote for the past month or two. Having
hung them back on, the brasses were polished and we were ready to make a move.
Set off in the end at around 10:30am, first couple of locks of the Braunston
flight were set against us, then we started meeting boats coming down which made
it a bit easier. Headed through Braunston tunnel and across to Norton Junction
where we winded and moored at around 1 o'clock.
