Brinklow to Braunston

SATURDAY 6TH:

I drove over to Brinklow Boat Services this morning and set off from the yard at about 8:30am, having had a quick chat to Simon. Turned left out of the arm onto the main line, and arrived at Hillmorton Bottom Lock for 11:30am. Got to the top of the flight for midday and passed the Big Ricky butty Lichfield moored at the top of the locks. Headed across to Braunston, passing the Middle Northwich motor Zodiac and Big Woolwich Aldgate. Arrived at Braunston for about 1:45pm, just in time for the Historic Narrowboat Owners Club AGM at 2:30pm in the village hall.
