The old British Waterways steel shed was removed from Sickle with the help of Paul Barber on the forklift truck. Once removed we made the front bulkhead and cut the engine room bulkhead to size and shape. The side plates were then lifted onto the gunwhales, scribed to shape, cut then fitted.
Finally it was time to put the roof on, this was done in two sections, the engine room then the back cabin. We got the 2" overlap for the northwich cabin by hitting it over with a rubber mallet.
